The Game "freezes" mid-fight

Why is it that every once in a while, the game just freezes mid-fight when the fighters are walking to their corners? When I say freeze, I don't mean the game crashes. It's like the game stops in pla...

    @RypeYT 

    This is potentially due to additional input peripherals interfering. 

    Try removing any unused input peripherals, joysticks, wheel controllers, Guitar Hero controllers etc.
