UFC 3

In UFC 3 why do you get punished for being successful in career mode. You start the career and can dominate but by the time you start reaching top 10 every single fighter you face has drastically better stats in every class. Regardless of how you train and focus your time on improving. Not asking to dominate in every area, but when I'm a devastating striker with 15 knockouts and I come up against some one who is a general wrestler and they land a two hit combo 30 seconds into the fight and I'm on the ground I feel like you've missed the mark. Why is there no tutorial on reversals? I hate the ground system but I figured if I could train enough to be able to reverse and get up then there would be some interest still. I understand the wear and tear aspect and that becoming well rounded should be the focus, however when I come across a #6 who has 100 in every stat I really do not understand what I have to do to be on the same playing field.
