UFC 4 Career Mode Clothing Choice

I have a fighter and I want him to wear vale tudo shorts. How do I equip these without losing the real UFC gloves. My fighter always wears board shorts, but If I turn on the vanity option, he doesn’t wear the real UFC gloves. Is this a bug?
