It just doesn't make sense man, why leave it out on the last game on the contract? When so many of us was looking forward to use the feature , expecting a much better improvement of that feature, The fact were even saying, "this is the main reason we even got the game in the first place" should be enough for them to be like ok we'll bring it back... Like how are they gonna leave this feature out when most likely this game will be released for next gen as well? Who isn't gonna wanna scan they're face especially on next gen? The game feels like it's missing some things & that's definitely one of them.. you guys LITERALLY, have the same rock face templates since UFC 1? Wassup with that? All the way down through UFC 4? Crazy, no shame, that 8 years in the making of 4 UFC titles. More than enough time to work on the face scan feature & improve it. (Cause it was never really perfected) Bet if they add an option where we can scan our faces through our phones more people would use this feature, seriously were all stuck with same faces & there literally no difference on a created fighter from 3 & or 4. Hell even UFC 1 & 2 had the same exact templates, the only unique option towards creating fighters was removed, now we're all stuck with created fighters that all look the same? Literally all of us look the same cause there so many limited options. AGAIN,EA CAN CHANGE THAT by letting scan our faces through an app which is probably the easiest way, maybe an option to scan out ofaces through the ps camera or maybe even 3 options where we can still use the gameface as well, basically 3 different ways to scan our faces, ofcourse remember not everyone has a computer (including me) which is the only reason why many players were left out from using the the feature. Again create an app where we can easily scan our faces like y'all did with NBA LIVE 18 (the feature in NBA LIVE 18 was decently made) & then you'll start getting this game back on track besides all the other flaws that need to be fixed or things that need to be added. Focus on bringing back this feature please, it will not be worth it to leave it out. We have to put up with this game for 2+ years EA come on, we don't all want to look the same due to the limited creation system & lack of adding the face scan feature, I was so hyped but a huge buzz kill when I couldn't find the option to gameface/scan face feature. We will return this game, so many ppl are pissed & I'm not the only one complaining, it's just alot of ppl don't have the time to get on here & complaint or put theyre 2 cents, well I'm here talking for those people too, many followers & friends I play with are expecting an update for it cause there is no way that this game is starting to look up to par & now y'all wanna remove one of the best features the game had , add it or il be returning the game I promise
I have be fighting for years now to try to adress the importance of the gameface, it has me gone mad, fifa career mode was the only thing i played because of the gameface , never had post anything before on forums but that changed when they suddenly took out gameface (fifa 17).
And now i see the same thing happen with UFC 4 (which i was planning to buy), it brings back the same discussion which has be going on for years, you can search it back, years of ignorance by EA .. and the worst thing is they don't even adress it before the release the of the game, like gameface means nothing to us, so they could remove it cause nobody will notice. I'm happy to see people still care for the gameface and are willing to battle to get it back , i hope someday we will get heard by EA, i really doubt it though....
I hope so too, but I noticed starting a whole new thread from scratch is hard for it to get alot of attention on these forums, they eventually die out, so I'm assuming the best way is to post the ideas or feedback on the already top discussions maybe? Maybe Posting there would gain some attention faster & possibly get it seen by the devs. Just can't believe they left it out, could've atleast let us scan our faces on an app like NBA LIVE 18 did, ps camera maybe? I'd say gameface but many people don't have a computer so it would make sense to make an app for it, probably the easiest way
Well , i always have the feeling EA don't want to improve career mode cause its not their money making mode.
Every year they make it worse and worse instead of improving.
While the community shares great ideas and suggestions on how they can improve the career mode they ignore everything and make it even worse.
It's such a shame career mode players have not been taking seriously. Not everybody wants to play online and are willing to invest extra money in a game which they already payed full price for.
its a shame, where's the heart at !?, it's like they are thinking: what is popular at the moment? , oh thats is gonna be where all our focus gets on cause there we will make our money.
Yea I agree although I'm not big on playing offline, cause after I'm done with career I never play it again I just stay online (reason why they should focus mostly on online modes) just online in general, I'd much rather play against other players, hence, the computer is programmed so I really don't enjoy it but I do understand & it should be available for offline career as well. I agree with them focusing on whats hot for the moment, like now they have all these goofy emotes? It seems like they took a page from all these battle Royale games & implemented on UFC. Reminds me of Fortnite with all the goofy emotes. They were on the right track when UFC 3 came out although it had its flaws as well. Now the game is going a completely different direction & I can honestly say, just like many others, they are trying to lure the younger crowd in.. yes the ones who were crying about UFC 3 being too hard, & how they hate grappling, well the casuals got what they wanted.. Everything is made much more simple, that's what they we're aiming for too, just a more simple way to play.. like how do they expect the hardcores to enjoy this when we were elite at the game when it was "hard/harder" on UFC 3 now we have to deal with all these abc 123 controls, all my friends are talking about how much more simple it is.. we don't want a simple game though? It's really not competitive & the striking reminds me of UFC 2.. EA, how is it that UFC 3 was on the right path & the next game you guys end up releasing this? Where's the common sense? After UFC 3 actually being a competitive type of game how do you guys release a much simpler version? It even restricts us from throwing more strikes after throwing 2-3 punch combos at a time, we just end up standing there like dummies getting hit by our oponents when we should be able to throw strikes fluidly & with no limitations.. thats ridiculous. If I throw 5-15 jabs I should throw 5-15 jabs.. simple, now these controls feel so odd/wrong even though I've managed to get used to it, striking is not better than UFC 3 nor the grappling to be honest. It feels very controlled & restricted for kids, kinda like trying to give everyone a chance to win & that isn't competitive at all. In the words of all my followers & friends I play with "this game feels like a child's arcade game" even the graphics are a downgrade & got worse. Let us use the analogs to transition/takedowns/stuff takedowns like we had in UFC 3. Seriously if EA would have kept everything the same as UFC 3 but with UFC 4's ground game/grappling maybe & that's a big maybe, we would have enjoyed this game but dam EA really messed up with this one... Oh & again let us scan our dang faces!!!
