UFC 4 Patch Notes (6.0)

Happy Holiday’s EA SPORTS UFC Fans!

The December patch (6.0) is officially live! Make sure to update your game to the newest version to gain access to some exciting new content. This month we’ve added two new licensed fighters, Michael Chandler and Alex Perez. In the patch, you’ll find updates to gameplay, various game modes, and fighter movesets, and fighter likenesses. As always you can find the full patch notes at the bottom of this article.

Since the launch of EA SPORTS UFC 4, there has been a significant amount of feedback from the community regarding knockouts, specifically around ragdoll physics. With this update, we’ve added a new type of knockout called “Lights Out” that will occur when you knock out your opponent with a high damage strike. These new knockouts will have drastically increased ragdoll physics and will cause the fight to end immediately without the fighter jumping on the downed opponent. This will add some exciting flair and unpredictability to fights going forward.

Michael Chandler makes his entrance to the digital Octagon after signing with the UFC in September. With three Bellator Lightweight Championships under his belt, Chandler will enter the game with a 4-star overall rating driven by his 4.5 star striking and health.

  • As I level up in the game it suddenly strikes me, why in the world have you used so much time on making meaningless clothing etc., instead of making a great game/carrer mode???

    Please answer this.

That's going to be tough to answer as I don't participate in the development decisions, but I know that character creation has been a huge part of gaming lately. It's what gamers are gravitating too, which you see in a lot of major hits like Fortnite, War Zone, Rocket League, and a lot of other games involving character creation in general.

Let us know what would make a great career mode for you and as Forum Community Managers we'll pass it along for you.

@EA_Blueberry This is just one detail. Let us have a choice in what weight class we want to fight in. Give us fight offers from different weight classes when we work trough the carrer. Remember, f.eks, Diego Sanchez fought in 145, 155, 170 and 185.

@EA_Blueberry And press conferences that we participate in.
Please stop with Fortnite things. Its so not mma/ufc. The taunt's before you start the fight f.eks, it just kills the UFC experience, sadly.
