This feature is actually implemented. Idk how it goes in ufc4/5 but in ufc3 the speed of an attack is increased if you move in a specific direction. For jabs you have to move in the opposite direction of the throwing hand but for kicks, hooks and overhands the animation ends faster if you walk along the strikes trajectory.
