I am also facing the same error since 18th Dec. 2016. I have also dropped a mail to EA customer support but di get any response till now.
Finally I install the earlier app & reinstalled it again from play store... download all files as required by game..
Tried to log in again with my fb account but again getting the same error. However I can play as guest but not via my fb account.....
Its so frustrating...pls provide a solution.

Can you see if you can un-link and then re-link your Facebook account via the game's navigation menu?

Thanks for your response. Well I don't think so I am getting this option coz when I start the app by default its says "welcome back! You are now logged with your Facebook Account" & when I hit the continue button the error appears again. I have attached the screen shot.
I don't know how to fix this my phone is updated & game version is also updated....its working on my friend's phone & that is very frustrating..pls help

OMG I just gone through the online comments from the other people as well & this log in problem is not only with me there are so many other who are facing the same issue & the best part yet they didn't get any solution from EA technical support team.
I guess the same goes with me then.....

It might be temporary connection issue. Try moving to where you have a better wi-fi signal, or try switching to a different network.
