The update version 1.08, did not resolve our problem.They didn't have time to fix it before this patch was released. Here is basically how they do a patch: The team makes the patch. Company submits patch to Sony and Microsoft. Sony and Microsoft then have to approve the patch. All of this can take 2 weeks alone. Then Sony and Microsoft have to put the patch in the system when they update their stores. So a single patch could take up to, and over 3 weeks just to get it implemented. That isn't even including making the patch.
However, since this seems to be a bug that is isolated to Ultimate Team, there is a possibility that it can be fixed via a server update push. Some things don't require a patch. Leaderboard resets for example are just pushed to the servers. How do you think they add new cards? They push them to the servers. So don't give up hope that just because this patch came out and didn't fix it, doesn't mean they can't do a fix via server. It all depends on if the issue can be fixed this way. A lot of devs consider server pushes as patches, so they might have just been talking about that. It might have to be fixed via patch. Which would likely set it for next month.

It has now been over a month for me. They better offer something for the hassle. I purchased alot of these packs with ea points just to be forced into not being able to use my fighter anymore when you lose over 20+ stars that you cannot equip. If this is a trend, you know buy EA points with real money and then to be put at a unfair advantage is ludicrous. I haven't played 2 of 5 of my card bugged fighters in over a month now. Don't want to delete them since they have had many attribute cards applied that had real money invested. I have yet to buy any more ea points since and refuse too till this is fixed and I get compensated for the headache. If not fixed soon, I will talk to my credit card company and dispute every charge as these type of situations pay to not play but pay to suffer without proper support is silly. I made ea aware of this over 1 month ago with no response until others started posting. Even when I was on the phone with them they were unaware even of this forum post till I directed them to it.
Fix, Compensate and then apologize.
So lets be realistic by the time this patch to fix this hits it will be into the 2 month mark, that I gave EA money to have a unfair, ruined non equal/fair experience.
I have already talked to my credit card company and I am to follow up if I don't receive a resolution soon. Since I have already proved my case they have no problem putting a dispute in for the charges. I suggest all that paid for EA points with a credit card do the same. Worst case can't play or get what you paid for you will get it back and then move on to greener pastures.

To show the team knows about the issue and is working on a fix. People can see that on the first page.

Received all my money back from visa, their loss, I suggest people do the same. Soon this will be going on the 2 month mark that people who purchased coaches packs with real money and where put at a unfair disadvantage. If it were a simple fix it would have been fixed, from what I was told the character needs to be deleted and recreated and restored. Good luck expecting EA to remake everyone's character with previous attribute cards they don't track. Will know next time instead of waiting months for a resolution if you paid money via credit card dispute it.

I am hearing that it has been fixed from someone else who posted in a thread like this on Operation Sports. People might want to check.
