Being from/in Canada is the reason you are not eligible. See the below info from here: https://www.easports.com/ufc/news/2016/beta-faq
Is the EA SPORTS UFC 2 beta open to everyone?
This is a closed beta and is only eligible to fans who own Xbox One or PlayStation 4 and are EA SPORTS UFC owners in North America, who are opted-in and received an e-mail. If you meet these requirements, you can register here for a chance to receive a beta code. You must register by January 21, 2016, at 10:00 AM PT for a chance to receive a code.
*Must be 18+. Internet connection, EA Account, and acceptance of the EA SPORTS UFC 2 Beta agreement required to participate. Certain online features in the Xbox One version require Xbox Live Gold

"owners in North America"... Canada is in North America so your reasoning is faulty.

Sorry, my mistake there. Do you meet the other eligibility criteria? Please note that meeting all of the criteria does not guarantee access to the Beta.

I do meet the other requirements. I own UFC for Xbox One and received an email but when I click the link it says that I ma ineligible. Thank you for your help.

You do not have any UFC game on the account you are posting with here.
Even if you are fully eligible you cannot ensure Beta access as not every eligible player will get a Beta code.
I got the email invite, did all of the above - all my settings check out and I'm using the account I play UFC 1 with, am in North America, and am getting the "You're not eligible" message.
CS hasn't been able to help me at all.
Any ideas?
- It says North America. Canada is in North America...if it was USA only it would say so wouldn't it?
Also, I know some other people from Canada who were able register.... - Anonymous10 years ago
same problem in US, I have the invitation, but when I clicked the register now, it tells me that I am not eligible.
