Why can Bruce Buffer not say first names?

Obviously X Æ A-Xii would be impossible but it should be easy for them to get a recording of Luke (Rockhold), Jon (Jones), Daniel (Cormier), Conor (Mcgregor), Matthew, Max, Alex, etc.
