Hello everyone, I made an update on steam on 25.05.2025 and I can't enter the game and I couldn't solve it no matter what I did and I don't want to solve it anymore. I don't have to deal with this here because of a mistake you made. We have been active apex legends players since 2019 and you have tired us with your updates, nonsense and in-game changes. In short, what I want to say is: YOUR JOB..................

Same problem here. Did an update today and after that all I get is this error. Haven't installed anything at all except the update to Apex...
No other programs running in the background and still I get this error.Same here.

Check System Files
Perform a Clean Boot
Disable Windows Defender / Antivirus
Close Conflicting Background Processes (TrayMenu.exe, DS4Windows, AutoHotkey, Vanguard)
Update / Reinstall Drivers
Update DirectX
Update Visual C++ Redistributable
Repair Easy Anti-Cheat
Create a New Windows User Account
Reinstall Apex Legends
Verify Apex Files (in Steam, File Verification)Open Device Manager by pressing Win + X and selecting it, or by typing devmgmt.msc in the Run dialog (Win + R).
In Device Manager, expand Storage Controllers and look for anything related to Daemon Tools. Right-click on it and choose Uninstall device.
After uninstalling, restart your computer. This should resolve the issue, and you can now run Apex Legends without problems.

I deleted Daemon tools and i still have this problem. After i reinstall the whole game , and still have a problem. Should i reinstall the full windows to play the game? i almost deleted everything from th pc and still cant play the game.I solved the problem. DEAMON TOOLS. It would be better if the intelligent apex executives told us this instead of dealing with nonsense.
Same issue tried removing daemon tools still not running.
Hopefully they fix this soon.
Same issues here, its been a month and I've tried everything (updates, daemon tools, repair, reinstall apex, changing BIOS,...), does anyone have an other idea about how to solve this ?
I have it since one update and the last one i did didn't changed anything.

This is impossibly negligent. Same here. If I hear one more person say Deamon tools I'll lose it! Over a month and nothing from Respawn... Like how do you mess up this bad? I'm so embarrassed for the devs. They really have no way to come back from this one. Maybe they're all fired, cause we've gotten radio silence.
