I don’t really understand why EA is so hostile toward cloud gaming services don’t they want players’ money? You still have to buy the game either way, but obviously I won’t buy it if my laptop can’t run it. However, thanks to services like GeForce Now or Boosteroid, I would buy EA games, since I’d actually be able to play them. There’s even EA Play, which could easily support this.
These days, a decent graphics card or processor has become almost unaffordable, whereas I can easily pay the €8 monthly fee for Boosteroid. I really wish EA would finally be more open minded. Many people choose cloud gaming for convenience too no loud fans, you can play on a TV with a controller, or on a laptop in bed without it reaching 100 degrees..

So well said brother, my thoughts exactly. They build their game on source engine, then they wonder why there are so many cheaters in their higher end lobbies. Best solution they can come up with is killing off entire Linux support (Spoiler alert: people still cheat). Now, you rely on cloud gaming services as an alternative, which use Windows 11 as their primary OS, yet they are still not satisfied. If the game is already in the service, which my assumption is, you yourself should have given the green light to begin with, why are you burning the bridges now?
