Dear EA / Respawn Support Team,
I am reaching out to report a persistent visual bug in Apex Legends that started appearing right after the recent game update. I am playing the game via Steam on a high-end desktop PC with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB and a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor.
I have been playing Apex Legends consistently since Season 2, and I have never encountered a visual issue like this before.
The Issue:
There are persistent corrupted, multi-colored squares (rainbow-colored artifacts) appearing on the ground/terrain, along with glitched, flickering shadows during gameplay. This issue makes competitive play extremely difficult due to constant visual distraction.
Please note that this is NOT a hardware issue, as my GPU temperatures are completely normal (around 51°C under load), and other demanding competitive games run perfectly without any visual issues. This is strictly a software/engine bug related to Apex Legends.
What I have already tried to fix it (None of these worked):
1. Clean Driver Reinstallation: Reinstalled the latest NVIDIA Game Ready Driver using a clean installation method and restarted the PC.
2. Verified Game Files: Used Steam’s official "Verify Integrity of Game Files" feature, and all files were successfully validated.
3. In-game Settings Adjustment: Tested changing different video settings from the in-game menu, but the rainbow artifacts remain.
The issue seems deeply tied to how the game engine interacts with modern RTX 50-series GPUs on the current build. Since the hardware is completely stable, this requires a developer hotfix or a specific compatibility patch.
I have attached screenshots of the issue demonstrating the artifacts and my system metrics overlay for your reference.
I look forward to your urgent assistance or passing this to the development team for a hotfix.
Best regards

its like tiny RGB squares appearing on the meshes of the texture. Like the floor and mountains. Also when picking the legends the background turns all messed up. It is happening with the latest nvidia driver on my RTX 4060.

thanks for the screenshots as i couldn't take some before reverting back to the 577.00 drivers. 577.00 drivers are very stable and gives me a constant 240 fps. My hardware as follows - Ryzen 7 7700, RTX 4060 8GB, 32 GB DDR5 6800 MHZ RAM.
