Weird visual bug with shimmering animations
Has anyone had an issue like this? It's easiest to replicate with dummy spawn and despawn animations, but other effects also trigger it (Banga smoke, the electrified effect on bullets of Rampart's wall). It's most jarring with R99 and CAR ironsight since the dot turns into 3 and it looks really blurry. I am on Steam. I use AMD Image Sharpening and Anti Lag (I tried disabling both but nothing changed). I am running RX580, Ryzen 5 2600, 32GB and I have tried both Windows 10 and 11, no difference between them. These scope artefacts started happening when this season 25 dropped if I recall correctly. R5 Reloaded doesn't have any issues nor do any other games I play, only Apex. I've just reinstalled my OS couple of days ago and I tried running Apex with every single setting in both Windows and BIOS at default, and nothing changed. These shimmering animations break my crosshair and make it so hard to track enemies when they're a bit further. Btw for some reason TAA 'fixes' it, I can't play game with TAA enabled, no chance, but all of these animations work correctly with it enabled. On top of all default settings I tried the driver from 2022 and the latest one 25.8.1, no difference between them either.38Views2likes3CommentsCollision Issue – Climbable Ramp/Stairs Missing (Olympus)
Platform: PC – EA APP Legend: Mirage (but the issue is not legend-specific) Game Mode: Battle Royale / Ranked Description: There is a collision issue on one of the metal stairs located near Hammond Labs on Olympus. When approaching the stairs from the front-left side, the player hits an invisible collision. It feels like there is a second “ghost” collision in front of the visible stair model. This blocks movement and prevents the player from climbing normally. How to Reproduce: 1.Go to Hammond Labs on Olympus. 2.Approach the metal stairs shown in the attached screenshot. 3.Walk forward toward the left side of the stair. 4.The player gets blocked by an invisible collision and cannot step up properly. Expected Result: The player should be able to walk up the stair smoothly. Actual Result: The player is blocked by an invisible collision in front of the stair. In my environment, the game freezes within minutes of starting and becomes unresponsive to PC controls. The only way to restore normal operation is to force a restart using the physical power button. No other games experience crashes or freezes. This issue occurs 100% of the time upon entering the field. I have confirmed that the issue invariably occurs in the shooting range. Note that when the game crashes, the screen does not refresh, and no blue screen or similar error is displayed. I have attempted several workarounds, but the issue recurs in all cases. I believe the system requirements are met, but if there are any other verification methods or a checklist, please advise. [Environment] OS: Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (Build 26200.7171) CPU: Intel Core i7-10700F Mem: 32GB (8GB x 4) GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 Super Apex Legends (Build ID in Steam): 20869454 [Already attempted] -> None of these resolved the issue - Rolling back the graphics driver - Changing the graphics card - Changing the game's installation storage location - Disabling VT-x in the BIOS - Replacing the power supply unit - Testing each memory module individually - Reinstalling the OS I hope this issue can be resolved as soon as possible.6Views0likes0CommentsCrashing and disconnects - Under investigation
When I opened the game for the first time today, this message appeared: "There was a problem processing game logic. Please try again. sh_challenge_tiles.gnut #331[UI] GetCurrentPlaylistVarBool: Not connected to a server". I have tried to verify the file in Steam - Steam support: Verifying the integrity of the game file. Unfortunately, it still didn't work. Moreover, I tried re-downloading but it didn't help either. Additionally, my Windows and graphics driver programs have been updated to the latest version, but I also tried switching to other servers, or changing the game language to English before logging in, but still no response. The same series of text kept appearing. CM edit: updated the title for better visibility2.6KViews61likes404CommentsI lost all my RP from a previous game.
At approximately 14:15 (GMT+7), me and my trio all got booted from a game we queed into because of an apparent anti cheat reason. Due to this, when I re-entered my lobby i realised i had gone from 400RP in diamond to 238RP, I had lost all my points from the game before getting kicked. I believe this is unfair. 📌 Issue Summary: Purchased/unlocked items, specifically Apex Coins and various Skins, are missing from my account inventory despite being marked as claimed in the Battle Pass (BTP) interface. 🗓️ Date of Occurrence: The issue has persisted since November 3, 2025. 🎮 Specific Item Details: Item Type: Apex Coins, Skins, and other miscellaneous items. Specific Battle Pass: The purchased BTP is for the second half of Season 26. 🚨 Detailed Description of the Problem: I purchased the Battle Pass for the second half of Season 26. Since November 3, 2025, several rewards that I have unlocked, particularly the Apex Coins and various Skins, have failed to appear in my account's inventory or balance. When checking the Battle Pass (BTP) screen, these items are clearly marked as unlocked/claimed. However, the actual coin balance displayed in the top right corner of the screen has not been updated, and the Skins are not available in my inventory. This issue has been ongoing for a significant period. I have already contacted customer support and they are aware of the issue.8Views0likes0Comments
