Ascention Crest wont work

My ingame name is @imber use I use the Ascention Crest it only display my rank when Im in the lobby. Once I join a match it defaults back to Rookie. iv tried to play games with it on, iv tried taking it off and back on again and nothing works. PLEASE HELP

I can vouch for this, my ranked games occasionally have teammates with the crest enabled and despite them being masters/diamond it shows as rookie in game.
