Can’t play with friends

So this just started yesterday, everytime I try to play with my friends my game starts acting weird, me and my friend will ready up and on his screen it shows both of us ready and it will start matchmaking but on my screen neither one of us is ready. It will load him into a game with a random and leaves my spot empty. I can play solo but even trying to get into the game itself is glitchy for me.
