Car SMG will not Auto Reload when Using Gold Mag

From what I have seen in the firing range, the Car SMG will not Auto Reload when equipped with a gold mag. This was the case both with and without infinite ammo reloads on, with the gold light and go...

After more testing this only happens when using two Car SMGs, one with a gold light mag, other with gold heavy mag. It is inconsistent on which gun it will not reload, but it can be either one.
