There’s an issue where crypto can see how many enemy teams nearby when drone and looks at banners around the map. The issues consist of not saying how many teams are in the area accurately when looking. It wouldn’t be an issue because he has voice lines if there are teams in the area if you don’t look in drone view, but he will say zero teams in the area, when there are teams in the vicinity. If you are in drone view and look at the banners it will say zero teams as well.
It was happening on world’s edge. As far as perks go I had selected “Ally move to” and this was in ranked BR

The firing range can have some strange behavior that doesn't always reflect what happens in matches, but if this is also happening on World's Edge that can definitely have an impact when you're actually playing. DewdyPop I was getting the opposite where I would throw out the drone and hear "3 enemy teams nearby", while the Apex banners all said 0, and then when I flew the drone around, I saw the 3 enemy teams were indeed within 200 meters of me.
I was on Storm Point in ranked when it happened to me.
Midnight9746 yea it was happening to me on storm point as well. I am a crypto main but he’s not with using if it continues.
thats such a huge part of his kit, and if his drone doesn’t work then he’s just a cool guy with a jacket
By the way, this issue is persisting even after the update. I’m seeing a glitch where one banner shows a count of zero while the other displays the squad count. It might be because I’m playing Bot Royale or frequently switching to the drone, but since my playstyle doesn't really change between Ranked and Bot Royale, this behavior is frustrating.
