Crypto drone constant scanning bug

I found that when playing as Crypto I was able to scan an enemy player with the tactical drone who then had the scan icon stay on the player despite the drone scan being no longer available (the drone being destroyed or the enemy player walking out of its range, etc.). The scan icon looks like the icon that is given upon taking the level 3 perk "Power Coupling" - I believe it is related to the system that gives ultimate ability charge when scanning enemies.

I could not replicate the image in the firing range as the dummies did not trigger the power coupling perk and I did not have any friends available to test with. I suspect that the issue starts either on its own or maybe when something happens to the drone whilst it is scanning (Crypto is eliminated, or the drone is destroyed). I have attached a gameplay clip of the bug as I witnessed it. Note that the drone is already destroyed and the icon stays where the player (a Gibraltar in the clip) dies.
