defect

When I play ranked matches in Apex Legends, I'm the only one who gets a black screen and a message saying "Unable to connect to server," and I can't join. There are no penalties. Why is this happening? Also, my friends don't get penalized, so this could be abused. This needs to be addressed urgently.
