Unable to Complete Parental Verification
Hello, I am encountering an issue with Apex Legends on Nintendo Switch. My EA account is set as an adult account, and it’s linked to my Nintendo account. I’ve had parental controls enabled on my Nintendo account for five years. When I try to play Apex Legends on Switch, I receive a message stating that “a parent or guardian must verify the account.” However, there’s no option to enter an email address, so I’m unable to complete the verification process. I suspect this might be a bug. Does anyone know how to fix this or what steps I can take to resolve the verification issue? So 8 days ago I've bought the Split 2 Ultimate Battlepass on the EA app, ever since then I'm not getting any of the paid rewards neither the instant rewards. Everything else works perfectly its only that I'm only getting the free rewards ( and funny thing it shows that I own the Ultimate+ and I can play with any of the legends that I haven't unlocked yet and it levelled me up just as the Ultimate+ would ) but it shows me that I own those rewards but when I go to said legend or weapon there is nothing from the Battlepass and the transaction was completed so basically I just got scammed. In-game packs with a specific collection (Beast of Prey/Penumbra) do not track the collected items accordingly. When opening a pack, it does not update or track the collected amount of items, showing 0/10 always despite owning multiple(, gained through said, purchased packs,) items from it. This has resulted in me rolling random cosmetics that I was not promised to receive from the packs, shown in Screenshot_1586 and 2025-03-12 21-52-34 - Trim.mp4. (I forgot to change the recording to match the higher resolution monitor, hence why it's oddly cropped, but all related information is still viewable.) From the Beast of Prey pack I got the Gold Talons - Prowler Skin and from the Penumbra Pack's I got; Revenant - Painted Death, Holo - Night Terror, Spitfire - Sunsetter, which all got replaced by the random item of equal value option instead of being removed from the pack's pool which should not have happened. This resulted in my fourth and fifth Penumbra pack resulting in getting random items that I was not expecting or did not want. (Mad Maggie - Tropical Punch and P2020 - Echo's Revenge.) I am fully aware that items get replaced if any of the items from the packs are obtained outside of the corresponding packs, however I've exclusively bought and obtained the cosmetics through the corresponding packs and not outside of it, so that should not have been applicable. Furthermore, despite the proper collected amount not properly being tracked, the pricing per pack does still track, as I bought last two packs for 500 in which I both received random unrelated cosmetics and now it sits at 700 with it thinking I own 5 to 7 items, all the while it is still sitting on 0/10 collected.125Views3likes7CommentsI can't configure the audio settings
When I started APEX for the first time in a while, I could no longer select 7.1ch or 5.1ch on the audio settings screen, and even if I set DTS Headphone:X or Windows Sibuc for Headphones, it no longer worked. I tried the following, but it didn't fix it. Repair APEX from the EA app Run the Windows Audio Playback Troubleshooter Turn off surround sound and start the game, then enable it after starting Use Windows Sonic for Headphones Disable "Exclusive Mode" in Windows Audio Settings Change 48000 Hz to 44100 Hz in Windows Audio Settings Use other headphones Remove the latest Monthly Rollup (revert to the February version) Use System File Checker (I checked the system image first using the DISM command) Add "+miles_channels 7.1" to the startup options Run the Windows Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter (I ran it from the command line) Run the Audio Troubleshooter from the Get Help app (I added the Microsoft Store to LTSC and used the reinstall option) Razer Game Booster Does Apex only support stereo and mono now? so in the past weeks, i unable to play apex. when i tried to login, just 1 sec in lobby then it got error showing up. it all started when i marked up a mission, the oraxe mission that give u 20 apex pack for completing. i cant redo this action because it keep crashing in the lobby. i already do repair the files and everything, i tried reinstall 2 times. nothing works. the person who have the same issue told me the same thing about marking up the oraxe mission. it seems like no user solution to solve this, its probably a client bug in the database. 😓. because the crash only happend in my main account. sadly i have to play with new account. cmon EA😓.8Views0likes0CommentsFriend not appearing on gifting list - (friends 2 weeks +)
Trying to gift the Oraxe reward tracker set which is FREE to GIFT, to my partner that I have been friends with for well over 2 weeks. I have him on steam, in-game on apex and on EA app but for some reason we are both unable to find each other on our friendslist to gift?? We are both verified for gifting on apex and have our accounts linked etc. I have also been able to gift to other people in the meantime but just not him. It doesnt make sense when I have another friend I only have on steam and maybe on apex that I can send this gift to, (I do not have this other friend on EA app) but the gifting option to that person is available but not to my partner whom I have on all platforms. It not looking promising or even fair to the fact that this is a limited time gift and because of a bug that him and I will possibly lose out on this because of it. Had spoken to an advisor for some help and the only thing that could be done was that it was reported to his team on his end. I’ve been in non stop back and forth emails with them that is essentially talking in circles. I still have not received my anniversary rewards after being stuck at 5,000 out of 6,000. I saw on Twitter respawn said that they have finished disbursing missing rewards and I still haven’t received anything. Can someone help or connect me with anyone that can get me my stuff please.
