EA BuG WITH STARTING EA ANTI CHEAT
Subject: Apex Legends won't launch - EA Javelin Anticheat service fails to start (Event 7023, Error 87) Hello, Since the new EA Javelin anticheat was added to Apex Legends, the game will not start. It shows "Starting EA Anticheat" and then the window simply closes. SYSTEM - Windows 11 Pro, version 26H2, OS Build 26300.9550 - CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, RAM: 32 GB, motherboard: ASRock B650M-H/M.2+ - BIOS: UEFI, Secure Boot: On (BIOS version 2.10, 3/20/2024) - Apex Legends installed through Steam PROBLEM DETAILS - EAAntiCheatService exists in services.msc (startup type: Manual) and the files are present in C:\Program Files\EA\AC (EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe, EAAntiCheat.GameService.dll, preloader_s.dll). - Starting the service manually gives: "Windows could not start the EAAntiCheatService service on Local Computer. Error 87: The parameter is incorrect." - Event Viewer (System log) shows Service Control Manager Event ID 7023: "The EAAntiCheatService service terminated with the following error: %%4294938639". WHAT I HAVE ALREADY TRIED - Uninstalled and reinstalled Apex Legends several times. - Ran EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe as administrator, used Repair and selected the Apex Legends folder (...\steamapps\common\Apex Legends). The installer log ends with "ServiceInstall success", "CertificateInstall success" and "Install success". - Steam launch options are empty. - Memory integrity (Core isolation) is turned off. - Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable v14 (x64) 14.51 is already installed (newer than the current download). - FACEIT anticheat service is installed but stopped. I suspect this may be a compatibility problem between EA Javelin and Windows 11 26H2 (build 26300). Could you please confirm whether this Windows version is supported, and advise how to fix it? Hello Apex team! I just noticed that the Fallen Angel skin for Ash is bugged. The golden Elements of the skin disappear depending how far away you look at it when you zoom in you can see through and notice the backside of the skin the whole skin is effected by this bug. i noticed also that the hands are missing blue textures once you play the skin ingame there is a gray spot on top of the hand which isnt normal as well. A quick fix would be appreciated because it wasnt always like that :) I wish everyone a nice weekend!

I opened an Apex Pack In the lobby, it rewarded me with Heirloom Shards, my screen Froze, and then my game crashed. When I went back into the game, I didn't get rewarded with the heirloom shards. That Pack and its contents are now gone. The reason I'm so upset is because Ive been playing since season 5, and that was my first heirloom. And outside of that, I Believe I still have 285 packs to go until a guaranteed one. I do not have the kind of money and/or time and would love to get my heirloom back. Please and thank you.FPS dropped drastically, probably a game performance scheduling issue.
My computer's frame rate drops from 180 fps straight down to 80 fps when I'm in the game's training range and ranked matches. It's really unstable and I have no idea why. Monitoring in the background shows the CPU and GPU suddenly throttling. I've tried locking the frequency with MSI Afterburner and ThrottleStop, but it's the same. This only happens with Apex, and it started happening right after the anti-cheat update. I upgraded to Windows 11 version 26H2. Last season, after the update, there were no stutters, but this season I'm having serious frame drops. I've tried turning off hyper-threading, clearing shader caches, etc., nothing works. I'm out of options. This is a nasty bug, and a lot of people are experiencing it. Please fix it as soon as possible.Missing heirloom, zero support
so last year i linked my steam account to my ea account for battle field 6 when it released and 1 year later in september 29 of 2026 i login and i dont have my heirloom that i unlocked with heirloom shards but i still have all my skins and same level that ive always had, this has always been my only account never made seperate ea accounts, been trying to reach ea support and it took 10 hours and 41 minutes but i was not present of course because no one is waiting that long, this is completely unacceptable that ea refuses to help me despite showing all my transactions on steam with apex legends this feels like a huge scam, if someone can check my account to see the logs of where i unlocked the heirloom shards that would be great because ea support is a joke, ive always played apex legends through steam it never told me to sign in to ea or anything but didnt know linking a steam account to an ea account would make you lose ur heirloomJust let me play already, dammit.
I cannot play because the game is stuck on "Preparing Party." I have tried restarting, updating, and repairing the game, but nothing has worked. Also, the AutoHotkey script I use for input switching is getting flagged by the anti-cheat. It’s not a cheat tool, so make sure it works.
