I'm getting errors too similar to when you load in. My game freezes on and off for 5 seconds about 2-4min into any game mode I start-up. Freezes my entire PC and not just ApexLegends.
I have done so so much to try and fix this.
- Updated all drivers (AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16-Core, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GPU, NVIDIA, etc.)
- Checked and installed Windows Updates
- Updated all applications (Logitech G Hub, Steam, EA App, Streamlabs, iCue, Gigabyte Command Center, Samsung Magician, etc.)
- Reinstalled or disabled audio drivers not being used
- Run "DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and "sfc /scannow" in Command Prompt
- Opened my PC to check all the cables
- Removed and reseated
- Verified Game Files (both Steam and the EA App)
- Reinstalled Apex on Steam to two different NVMe hard drives
- Downloaded EA to see if that fixed it
- Watching MSI Afterburner, LatencyMon, and DxDiag and diagnosing errors
- Changing shader settings in the Apex video files manually
- Various Launch Option settings
- Deleting and forcing reinstall of EasyAntiCheat
- Turning off Overlays
- Running game with PC peripherals detached (Turtle Beach headset, Xbox Controller, External Seagate Hard drive, etc...)
- Changed properties of Apex Legends exe to 'Run as Administrator'
- Reset internet router
Literally the only thing I haven't done is clean and install a new windows version. I refuse to do that due to the headache of rebuilding all my apps. I'm able to run Call of Duty just fine. So, my only conclusion is that the latest season 25 of Apex Legends has bad game logic and needs a patch.
Unless anyone else knows what I should do... I'm out of options.
I've been Masters for both spits this season. I was looking forward to having free time to work on my M&K game and explore the finer details of the game rather than grinding ranked. I'm wondering if messing with the M&K settings somehow cause an issue with the Logitech G Hub, but... I still think that is a stretch considering I've run the game with the app not active.
