I've finished a ranked match with one assist and 6 participations. However I was granted points only for 1 assist and 2 participations. The current point total that is shown during the match were displaying incorrect values as well both for me and for my teammate (I don't know if everything looked correct for them - I was playing with random people). I haven't noticed this issue in other games I've played recently, including matches after this one.
