Missing items from inventory

I have found that all day today after I pick up med kits, shield cells or batteries they are no longer in my inventory when I go to use them. I have double checked and yes I made sure I picked them up and they disappear completely. I have not been the only one that had this issue today. I have also found that the lag has been horrible today and I have thebest internet speed I can get i am not sure if the two are related but both have been consistent today for me.
