Bans caused by false anti-cheat flags while having connection issues to servers
I believe that there is a problem happening in apex at the moment that involves the anti-cheat flagging people falsely for reasons like connections to the server and reconnecting to them after being disconnectedand then banning them for the reason of "Gameplay Enhancement" . A previous pro player Edam_FPS was recently banned twice and unbanned twice for the same reasons. i believe other people as far back as 2 months have been experiencing this issue and im unsure if EA or Respawn have any knowledge of its case. I was falsely banned myself on the 21st of Jan while i was in the firing range after a tdm match, i was simply aim training when the ban occured and the only things that i had open/used at the time of me playing was "Crosshair X", Steam Launcher settings: -dev -console -preload -novid -cl_forcepreload -high -fullscreen +fps_max 180 +mat_letterbox_aspectgoal 0 +mat_letterbox_aspect_threshold 0 +building_cubemaps 1 +cl_fovscale 1.7 i also had Aimlabs open at the time of the ban but ive used both apps before simultaneously and have had no issues prior. I have also used exitlag in the past with no issues of conflict with apex. I have already submitted my appeal from the ban but i am making this post to highlight the issue that many other players maybe experiencing at this time. i cannot account for their personal interactions with the game but the frequency and timings make it likely that others maybe getting falsely banned in the same manner.6.1KViews33likes124CommentsApex legends packet loss
I am experiencing persistent packet loss only in Apex Legends. Details: ISP: Salam Fiber Connection: Wired (LAN) Region: European servers Packet loss: Around 0/15 for almost two months Now !! The issue only occurs in Apex Legends. Other online games work normally. I have already restarted my router, used a wired connection, disabled IPv6, updated my network drivers, and optimized my PC and NVIDIA settings, but the issue remains. I am forced to play on European servers because the Bahrain server has been unavailable for a long time. Could you please check if there is a routing issue or any known server-side problem affecting my connection to the European servers? If needed, I can provide screenshots, EA Account information, DxDiag, or network test results.38Views2likes3CommentsSevere lag east coast servers
Hello, as the title says me and four other people I play with who primarily play on east coast servers have this issue with severe lag over the past season. We’ve noticed if we switch to central the issue goes away entirely but then we have to deal with high ping. The lag in question isn’t every match but more of a roll of the dice. When we get lag it lasts for one match and is severe like borderline unplayable bad. As the match goes on the lag gets better and better but never goes away entirely. Happens maybe 1 in ever 5 or 6 matches, in the matches it doesn’t happen there’s no issue game runs completely fine. Just wondering if anyone experiences a similar issue or if it’s a known problem to be fixed. If needed we all play on PC and play east coast serves, we all started playing again this season so I’m not sure how new of an issue this is. This issue is literally game breaking for some of us as some lag not as bad but still to an unplayable extent on central. Forcing some to play easy and just hope you don’t get a lag lobby. We are located central New Jersey if that info helps. Thank you!11Views0likes0CommentsNew Split crazy lagging on E-District
A new Problem has arrived since the new Split. The connection has been very unstable. Especially i noticed that on the E-District. It happens literally every 3-4 Matches. The is no problem with my connection since everything else works fine. https://youtu.be/n7rGfIONNqE8Views0likes0CommentsOctane infinite launch pad
Hi, this glitch is very common and easy to replicate, i get it VERY OFTEN and it ruined so many games. In 6v6/armed rush/Controle, when you die on an octane launch pad and respawn after, you jump turns into a launch pad jump, and every time you come near the launch pad you died on, you get randomly jumped in the air infinitly until the end of the game (sometimes it resets when another player breaks the launch pad, or when a ton of launch pads are near it, idk why) Other players sometimes see you launched randomly, but most of the time they just see you frozen / running weirdly. Youtube link to some of the times i encountered this glitch (First video is a short one showing the way it gets triggered, and the weird running, second video show the long term effects, and how it gets worse and worse over time.)
Severe FPS variance after latest update – rendering performance regression Hello Since the latest Apex Legends update, I am experiencing a significant and inconsistent performance regression affecting FPS stability. The issue is highly situational and appears to be tied to rendering complexity / scene load: - Low complexity scenes: ~200–240 FPS - High complexity scenes (dense geometry / effects / combat areas): drops to ~60–70 FPS This behavior occurs even on minimum graphics settings, suggesting the issue is not related to user configuration but likely a performance regression introduced in the latest patch. System specifications: - GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070 - CPU: Intel i7-12700 - RAM: 16GB - Latest GPU drivers installed - Windows fully updated Troubleshooting already performed: - Clean driver update - Game file verification - All graphics settings set to minimum - Disabled background applications - Restarted shader cache via driver reinstall Observations: - FPS fluctuates heavily based on camera direction and on-screen asset density - Behavior suggests CPU/GPU load imbalance or inefficient asset streaming / culling - Issue was not present prior to the latest update This appears to be a regression in rendering optimization, possibly related to asset streaming, shader compilation behavior, or draw-call overhead introduced in the current patch. Please investigate potential performance regressions introduced in the latest update or advise if additional diagnostic steps are required. Thank you. neil305Views8likes6Commentspacket loss?
