Permanent bans for “gameplay enhancement” reported by large number of players
This issue is not limited to a single account. Hundreds of players are reporting permanent bans for “gameplay enhancement” across platforms like X, TikTok, and here on the EA forums. Many affected players state they have never used cheats, macros, or third-party software. When appealing, they receive the same automated response and the appeal is denied without any specific explanation. Being repeatedly directed to the appeal process does not help if the outcome is always the same and no additional information is provided. Given the number of similar reports, this should be reviewed as a potential detection or enforcement issue rather than isolated cases.
Bans caused by false anti-cheat flags while having connection issues to servers
I believe that there is a problem happening in apex at the moment that involves the anti-cheat flagging people falsely for reasons like connections to the server and reconnecting to them after being disconnectedand then banning them for the reason of "Gameplay Enhancement" . A previous pro player Edam_FPS was recently banned twice and unbanned twice for the same reasons. i believe other people as far back as 2 months have been experiencing this issue and im unsure if EA or Respawn have any knowledge of its case. I was falsely banned myself on the 21st of Jan while i was in the firing range after a tdm match, i was simply aim training when the ban occured and the only things that i had open/used at the time of me playing was "Crosshair X", Steam Launcher settings: -dev -console -preload -novid -cl_forcepreload -high -fullscreen +fps_max 180 +mat_letterbox_aspectgoal 0 +mat_letterbox_aspect_threshold 0 +building_cubemaps 1 +cl_fovscale 1.7 i also had Aimlabs open at the time of the ban but ive used both apps before simultaneously and have had no issues prior. I have also used exitlag in the past with no issues of conflict with apex. I have already submitted my appeal from the ban but i am making this post to highlight the issue that many other players maybe experiencing at this time. i cannot account for their personal interactions with the game but the frequency and timings make it likely that others maybe getting falsely banned in the same manner.
VANTAGE "BUG" still an issue
Unlimited Ultimate "bug" for Vantage is still an issue. I just read another discussion dated 7 months ago. Is it being worked on? Or is it like every other patch I've noticed since season 9 where all PC-related issues are prioritized over everything else? Also, I hate the fact that the audio default is the focused audio. IMO, that new focused audio makes the game audio more harder to detect compared to the original option. Please make the default option the original audio and not the focused audio. Lastly -cheats are still rampant in US Central, US West, and NE Asia Servers. It's becoming super obvious that some gamers are using cloacking cheats for their PC's to be able to play in Console only lobbies. Their reticle traces are nothing like a controller aim. Others show their reticles are at least a foot away from you but their bullets are shown homing towards you. In othe instances, reticles and bullets can be seen hitting your body and legs but the damage log is showing numerous consecutive headshots.
Severe microstutter and hard freezes only in Apex Legends (PC)
Apex Legends is the only game on my PC that consistently experiences microstutter and occasional hard freezes or crashes. All other games run normally with no performance or stability issues. Troubleshooting already completed: - Verified game files - Reset Apex local configuration - Cleared DirectX shader cache - Reinstalled GPU drivers - Forced Apex to use dedicated NVIDIA GPU - Removed all launch options - Tested lower mouse polling rates Apex has also hung at "Stopping" in Steam and required a full system reboot. This appears to be an Apex-specific issue rather than a general hardware problem.Glitchy on ps5
My apex load screen and gameplay is super glitchy on ps5. It literally skips every 2 minutes. I tried playing online on my ps4 and it was just fine. Why is it only primarily a ps5 issue? I uninstalled the game and re installed it and morning. Please help. It’s been this way for about 2 months now.3 Major bugs
All 3 of these happen only in ranked and on all 3 maps in rotation. For some reason, at the start of every ranked game after we land, there is a loud distant explosion sound that plays from around the middle of the map (and cuts in and out constantly on repeat) for the first few minutes of the games and it can be misleading. About 2 minutes after my team lands, the server starts to lag for everyone. It’s just packet loss and jitter here and there but each team I queue up with me tells me they are lagging too. It stops eventually In some ranked games, the lag from bug 2 starts as soon as you land and persists for a majority of the match. This lag doesn’t jitter and packet loss, but it makes the game run at slow motion. All the voice lines are fine but movement and everything else is on 0.75x speed. It seems like killing certain players or wiping certain squads gets rid of the lag. The lag also affects multiple players (not my WiFi’s fault)
