Networking issues in Middle East

Dear EA,

I recently moved to Dubai and have been playing Apex Legends weekly throughout 2025.

Despite having an Apex server in the Middle East, I have to play on Europe West with 130 ping, because the Middle East server ping isn't much better (>100ms) and has packet loss more frequently.

I surmise there might be a networking issue with the data center used in the Middle East. Being in Dubai, I'd expect a much lower ping than I'm getting, especially assuming that the Middle East server is located in Bahrain.

It really doesn't make sense to maintain a Middle East server that doesn't provide a better experience for the players in the region.
