Pathfinder grapple bug

I was in the final ring and fighting the last team, I tried to grapple whilst reloading and nothing happened. Grapple was 100% off cd and ready as the UI icon showed that I had a charge and the crosshair icon was also showing the charge.

After the match I went to test it out in the firing range and it turns out you can grapple while reloading.

I haven't been able to replicate the bug since. Maybe the charge was never there and the UI bugged out?

I tried to bring this up on the Apex subreddit as well but you get no valuable feedback from the people who lurk there lol.
