Random Game Freezing, and then game crashing without the game acknowledging it.

I have no clip of this but it was happening like a game or two straight where the game would just freeze like no audio nothing just one frame, and I don't think my FPS  dropped or anything but the game was just pausing like literally someone had just hit the pause button on the whole lobby,. Then my last game it was the longest pause and that's when it gave up and crashed.. I'm a PC player and I was playing Wild Card, I don't know if it matters I'm in a party with my Xbox friend as well.
