Since the Lunar rebirth Event me and many other players have experienced a bug on sydney servers where the game randomly gives you high packet loss and you rubber band everywhere it makes the game unplayable there was a guy on reddit who experienced the same thing as me this has been a problem for 3 weeks now and it's unplayable
That kind of server instability really hurts the overall experience even a b2b lead generation usa agency would struggle to stay connected with clients under that kind of packet loss issue.

Yep I’ve been having the exact same issue. It’s performance mode bugged for me. I have no lag on balanced mode but it’s so difficult playing on that mode. I put a few reports in 24 days ago heard nothing yet
I’ve been experiencing unusual connection issues while playing Apex Legends on the Sydney server using my PS5 (wired connection). The issue occurs consistently and follows this pattern:
The first game I play runs smoothly with a stable 45–56ms ping and no noticeable problems.
However, from the second game onward, I experience severe packet loss (three red squares), teleporting, rubber banding, and prediction errors (two red dotted lines). My ping remains the same, but the game becomes unplayable.
Restarting Apex Legends temporarily fixes the issue, allowing me to play one good game before the problem returns.
Switching to a different server resolves the issue, with no red squares or prediction errors—just the expected higher ping due to location differences.
I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps:
Restarted my router and checked my internet connection (other online games work fine).
Contacted my ISP, who confirmed there are no issues on their end.
Deleted and reinstalled Apex Legends.
Tested other servers, which work as expected.
Since I prefer to play on the Sydney server, I’d like to know if others are experiencing the same issue and whether there’s a solution available. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

New Zealand PC user here experiencing the packet loss bug too. It's not just console guys. Some games I may be fine but 95% of the time a fellow Oceania teammate will have the rubber banding issue so we're pretty much dead in the water from drop. The annoying thing is we've finally got enough players returning for season 25 to get an Oceania game but we have to deal with this horrible issue. We can't win.

Imagine buying the Pro and then realising you can only play at 60hz…
What’s even more frustrating, is seeing half a dozen posts on this topic with 10+ commenters, and they just **bleep** and moan on Reddit and post nothing here.
Or, seeing multiple posts to the EA forums on this same topic, but with 1 or 2 comments.
If we want EA to fix this, because it’s 100% an EA issue, then we all need to tell other people experiencing this issue to post here, in this thread, and to upvote it.
That’s the only way we can build a case and bring it to their attention.
