AI issues

I feel like this has to be a bug, it’s 2025 and the AI bots are nearly brain dead, often standing in the open completely static or running past the player or other enemies with no reaction. There’s no way this is intentional, is it?  This is not an isolated thing it’s every game and every platform. On a side note why can’t I be in a squad with bots? When that was in 2042.. I know bots aren’t something the majority of players care about but there’s a big enough audience that prefer PvE so can we please get improvements to that aspect of the game?
