Aim Guided helicopter missile bug

When aiming at painted targets with the attack helicopter aim guided rocket which states it can lock onto painted targets to targets marked by the tracker pistol it doesn’t actually lock on.

I am on Legacy and alternate settings for attack helicopters with assisted flying turned off.
