When you ADS as the gunner in an attack helicopter, if the pilot is turning at all when you ADS it moves where your aiming wildly.
When hovering it works fine and zooms at the location your aiming but if the helicopter is moving it seems to just pick a spot on the screen and change where you are aiming to that.

Yes, this is supper annoying. I made a post addressing the same issue. I've looked everywhere in the settings and changed many to no avail. I'm worried it might not be disable-able at the moment.
same thing for me on xbox, also happens on gunner ground vehicles to, when you zoom, it picks a random spot instead of center screen
Yes, this wasn't happening in the beta but it is now. Not sure if some weird setting but I think it's a bug. Very frustrating and disorienting!
This is so frustrating and annoying
100% agree. Most frustrating aspect of the game so far, especially for those who love flying choppers. It wasn't like this in the Beta, which makes it even more maddening. We stream this bug all the time so if any devs want video of what we're referencing, happy to share.
This Zoom issue makes the attack chopper gunner almost unusable. I was expecting this to be fixed in today’s update, but unfortunately it wasn’t. Please fix this ASAP!

Happens to me too. I feel like no one tested this, yet BF Labs existed for some reason.
The ADS zoom seems to be a stabilized version of zooming, which is actually quite cool. But it needs to be refined as it's currently a bit janky.
Makes me think BF6 might get an AC130 eventually to truly take advantage of this stabilized zoom.
