I found a work around that seems to "fix" it.
So with my laptop, if I plug in a wireless USB keyboard I found, the game seems to work fine and I can use both keyboards.
But if I disconnect the wireless USB keyboard and launch the game, the issue re-appears and I have to hard reset my computer to fix it.
Edit: Nevermind, tried it again and my main laptop keyboard disables itself. Have to restart my PC to fix it.

+1 Same Issue here. Try booting a game up and the keyboard stops working everywhere. Only a hard reset enables the keyboard.
My specs are
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU (8 GB)
Same Processor, maybe there is a connection?
Frustrating issue to have.
My device is also a ROG strix laptop. Yeah we almost have the exact same system.
