Same issue, would be nice if dice could look into the issue.
Just like you I have tried pretty much every possible setting and to make sure I was not going insane just like you I tried the exact same settings I use in bf6 in 2042, aiming down sights was smooth in 2042 fast and consistent, where as aiming in bf6 could be best described as dragging your mouse through mud
