Could you also fully close BF6, turn PS5 3D Audio off, then relaunch and retest?
Go to Settings > Sound > 3D Audio for Headphones and toggle Enable 3D Audio to off.
If there is no change, swap the audio settings in-game and play a game or two on stereo sound, then check again with the 3D sound.
