BF6 G-Sync not activating after Season 2

G-Sync stopped working in BF6 after the Season 2 update for me. Every other game I've tested activates it fine , the indicator shows up — but BF6 just won't trigger it regardless of what I try.

GPU drivers are up to date. VRR is on at the display level. I've gone through pretty much every combination in NVIDIA Control Panel:

• Full screen only vs. full screen + windowed modes
• V-Sync off entirely vs. letting NVIDIA handle it vs. application-controlled
• All three in-game display modes (fullscreen, borderless, windowed)
• Toggling between explicitly setting "G-Sync" under Display Technology and leaving it application-controlled

Nothing works. The overlay indicator just never appears in BF6.

I'll admit the subjective "it feels different" part could be placebo, but the missing indicator is objective, something changed. Has anyone else run into this since Season 2, or found a fix?
