Bipod not working

No matter what i do, my game just won't deploy a bipod. Tried with sniper/lmg/dmr. Doesn't matter if i'm near a crane where i could attach, or i'm proned on a flat surface, it just won't deploy. Tried multiple guns.  Doesn't matter what key i try it with, it just doesn't work. Even the keybind has some kind of weird greyed out color in the menus. Look at the attached screenshot.
