Black screen after respawning via Spawn Beacon in small modes (KotH etc.)

Since the latest Season 1 update, there’s a bug when using a Spawn Beacon in smaller modes like King of the Hill or Team Deathmatch. When you die and press R to respawn via the beacon, you actually spawn in, but the respawn timer keeps running. Once the timer hits zero, the screen goes completely black.

You can still move around, hear everything, and even see your position moving on the minimap, but the whole screen stays black.

Happens every time I use a Spawn Beacon in those modes.
