Blackscreen during gameplay... Overlay still showing.

This is a game-breaking problem here. Blackscreen occurs during gameplay, but the overlay still shows. Can still hear everything, can still move and see teammates on the minimap. This did not happen ...

Okay, thanks. Try also the following steps and see how that goes: 

  • Perform a clean installation of your GPU drivers.
  • Verify or repair game files via your launcher (EA app or Steam) .
  • Disable overlays and close background apps.
  • Run the game in Windowed/Borderless mode or lower resolution (just for the test)
  • Disable GPU/CPU overclocking and monitor temps.
  • Perform a Windows clean boot to rule out software conflicts.

    Thanks for the troubleshooting ideas, Pulsar.


    I heard about other players experiencing the black screen problem. Some of those players were questioning if it had something to do with using the Deploy Beacon. I tested the theory by playing 2 sessions without using the Deploy Beacon, and there were no graphics issues. However, I played today while using the Deploy Beacon and graphics anomalies showed up. (Please see the attached screenshots).

    I appreciate your help and follow through!

    Edit: Apparently this was a bug after using the Deploy Beacon. No issues here after the BATTLEFIELD 6 UPDATE 1.1.1.0 using the NVIDIA 581.80 driver. Thank you very much!
