Campaign Stuck in loading screen but gun shoots

So this is not the first time i am having this issue. I have been trying to work out a different bug/technical issue and found this one. When in a campaign mission hitting the restart from checkpoint button seems to get me stuck in a permanent loop of loading in, but something is running as I can hear my gun shooting while at the loading screen. As well if i try to load a mission from the main menu using the Continue Mission button it does the same thing. the specific mission i am running is Always Faithful right after you run to the hanger, get hit with artillery, and get in the Vehicle.
