Was playing the game fine until mid-match I couldn't sprint with any of my weapons equipped. I can sprint with the defibrillators out or any gadget similar to that. I restarted my game and xbox multiple times but the issue still persisted. Bug persisted through every game mode I tried, even the campaign. I tried remapping my controls and still no success. Game breaking bug and makes the game unplayable until it's fixed.
Mine just started with this new November 17th or 18th update my guy will not Sprint for half the match it have to repeat it and click the left stick I'm on PC so I even verified the files multiple times on Steam and still cannot get it to work this is absurd so not only did the update ruined my kts 100 spread at long range double. (Even though it was supposed to tighten the spread) now I can hardly get my character to Sprint it's very infuriating I know how the game operates on rank 104 plzzzz dooo soooomething starting to feel like they gave us a Half Baked game as a GoFundMe for their Battle Royale free to play
It's not just the controller I am on a high-end PC with the new 8bitdo ultimate 2 controller best you can buy and having the same issue it's like the Sprint randomly will work after pushing the button 15 to 16 times and then it's only occasional Stims won't even make my guy faster which is wild it's actually something with the game and I've tried verifying it uninstalling it I've clearly done everything at this point that I can think of
I'm on PC with the 8-Bit do ultimate 2 and having the same issue just started with this recent update for me November 16th I believe it's wild I've done everything reinstalled the game verified files it's the game itself because even stem shots with the assult won't make my guy Sprint or even run faster
This fixed it for me:
open steam and go to settings, then click the controller tab and enable "enable steam input for xbox controllers" then scroll down a bit and clickm install on the "xbox extended feature support driver".
after my PC restarted the issues with not being able to sprint were gone.
from my research this seems to be an issue with xbox elite controllers but if you have the same issue with a different input perhaps try this fix with your controllers named options instaed of the xbox ones.
I’ve currently got this issue. Started on 2nd February mid match. On Xbox series X. Tried a number of fixes with no luck. Can’t find a way around it.
