Casual Breakthrough tanks K/D
Casual breakthrough doesn't add to your k/d but it sure tanks it. Tested it & you ONLY GO DOWN. DO NOT PLAY CASUAL BREAKTHROUGH! I recorded on ps5

Turn K/D off make it totally untraceable. PTFO. So many games i die 10 times then get 5-10 kills in one life. Why is it so hard to get into a positions to kill? Most players just lie where they spawn and want to go for K/D lol. Death in this game is usually due to trying to move and you need multiple players to break the chokepoints. You need people to not care about dieing. Double all scores of the winning team or at least at a bare minimum add 3k score to the entire winning team players (similar to BF4). people care to much about dieing. ALOT of the games i top the leaderboard in i have the most deaths. Low K/D can actually mean a better player than high. The design is flawed currently and the reward system isn't team based enough. The attack vs defense is actually balanced its just the incentive to PTFO is missing IMO.
The problem isn’t people caring too much about K/D.. some do but this post is about the recent update.. it’s that the game forces bots into matches and the latest update made it worse. Bot kills don’t count for your stats, but bot deaths STILL do. So you get punished by something you didn’t even queue for, you’re not dying “for the team,” you’re dying to AI that gives you zero upside and full downside.
You can go to the online tracker to see your real KD including bots if this still works... (This is where the counting only player kills but ALL deaths thing started a week or so ago) . This may not help though as you want your stats in game for others to view? I've just got over the stats thing. I was fairly high ranked in previous BF's but these days between the bots and rampant cheating there is really no legit stats. We need bots to play though, as it is small modes are unplayable most of the time for me. I think the whole stats thing is one of the primary reasons i sit in lobbies 5-20 minutes+ per round in this game. I would love for them to say look were backfilling all modes to FULL after 1 minute wait. if you wanna be competitive and don't like bots we will have rolling ranked modes with leaderboards with no bots for all modes. We understand some regions will not be able to play the non bot modes but at least they can play ALL MODES (with backfill working). And the players that hate bots and want ranked have there own mode to play.
Leviathon888 Thanks but, I'm not too bothered about my KD, I’m more into the score-based stuff to get that number higher but I’d still expect stats to count in normal modes. With how often they show up in matches, They need to fix how they act aswell rarely drop ammo when asking for it, they come to revive you and sit there tea-bagging you while you die well, thinking about it there just like real players in that sense but They need to be more distinctive so you dont target them instead of a player and end up getting shot.🤷♂️
