Challenges not tracking

To those having issues with tracking that involves gadgets, have you tried changing which gadget slot the tracked gadget is in?  I was getting *zero* progress with "Deal damage to aircraft with AA launchers" and it seems the fix was switching my Stinger from Gadget 1 slot to Gadget 2 slot. 

I say "seems" because I'd changed some other stuff not as recently, so it's possible the "Deal damage to aircraft with AA launchers" specific issue is more complicated and also requires one or more of the following to be done: Equip SMG (I did SGX, but probably doesn't matter), use default skin, play "escalation" not "conquest" game mode, equip supply crate to gadget 1, try doing the "untrack" option for said challenge if it's set to "track" (the "track" that keeps 1 to 4 tracked items on the "challenges" first page).

It's also possible it was just dumb luck or a support ticket I put in got worked and they fixed it and it only *seemed* like the gadget 1 / 2 swap fixed it.  But I don't think they'd have worked my ticket that fast, and am not seeing any notification or message about it being completed.
