Chat box freezes after dying in attack helicopter

After using the attack helicopter and dying, opening the chat box can cause the chat interface to freeze completely. When this happens, I am unable to type, close the chat box, or exit out of it in any way. The only way to fix the issue is to force quit the game and restart it.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Enter or use the attack helicopter.
2. Die while using or after using the attack helicopter.
3. Try to open the chat box.
4. The chat box freezes and becomes impossible to interact with or close.

Expected result:
The chat box should open normally, allow typing, and be possible to close.

Actual result:
The chat box freezes completely. I cannot type, close it, or regain control without force quitting the game.

Additional information:
I play at 2560x1440 resolution. I am not sure whether this is related to the issue, but I wanted to include it in case it helps with debugging.
