Green Screen while on Ps5 Pro BF6 multiplayer match
Yesterday i played a multiplayer match and after 1 1/2 hour my 1 week old Ps5 Pro just freeze and after that a green screen appered and the console shut down. After that the console restarted it self and repared the database. it never happened on any other game, only in BF6. I seen some more threads here and on reddit to this topic, especially on Ps5 Pro. Please fix this! Does anyone else notice the same issue on Ps5 Pro? Mine is the revision 7121.
Ps5 Pro random green screen that leads to a shutdown while playing BF6
This has happened to me twice now, second time was just after the California resistance update on Nov 18th. The first time it happened about a week after launch, already had about 100 hours with no issues until the game froze & turned into a solid green screen, with my console shutting down about 30 seconds later. I never got a crash report or error message, it only said the power cord was unplugged incorrectly. So, I booted my ps5 pro in safe mode in order to clear cache, rebuild database, & re-install the latest software update, this seemed to fix it for a couple weeks but it just happened again yesterday, BF6 is the only game it has happened on twice now. This console isn’t even a year old & I know it’s not the hdmi cord or my console because I can play any other game for hours without any issues. The first time this happened on bf6 I had only been playing for about 20 minutes. Yesterday when it happened again I was playing for about 3 hours. At this point I’m honestly scared to play the game in case it bricks my 6 months old console, this needs to be addressed. Looking at other forums it seems to be a ps5 pro exclusive issue & no other game has caused this to happen on my system so far. I was debating sending it in to Sony for repairs as it’s still under warranty but I’m convinced it’s a technical issue in with the game. This needs to be addressed quickly cause I’d love to keep playing your game, but it’s seems rather risky with this happening at completely random times. The first time it happens the round had just started & I didn’t even get to fire my weapon yet, the second time it happened I was playing RedSec BR running away from the circle when it suddenly just froze & gave me a green screen again
Game freezes when trying to use chat after UPDATE 1.2.3.0
I'm using both english and korean, and whenever i try to type something in in-game chat today after the patch, the game freezes. Keybinds aren't working at all, mouse is frozen too. I tried to reboot my desktop, repair the game in ea app, disable using Unicode UTF-8 option in my keyboard settings, still didn't fix it

PC chat was broken, then it was fixed. Now after the 14 April 2026 update, it's broken again. Furthermore, If you try to chat on PC (hit enter key), you lose complete control in the game and all inputs cease to have any effect. And by all, I mean ALL (no keyboard, no mouse). The only way out is to bring up task manager and kill the battlefield process. This needs to be fixed. 90% chance you have several dev teams pulling from the code branch working on the next update. However, you need to communicate bug fixes between those teams and code branches. Come on man. It's obvious when you fix a bug and the same exact bug (+ more) gets reintroduced after an update. Let me know what info or logs I can provide. This is 100% reproducible after today's update.
RedSec Second Chance Bug: I Won Without Existing
Issue Summary: I queued for Duos but did not get a teammate. When I died and should have gotten the Second Chance redeploy, the game bugged. My camera froze at the spot where I died. I could not move, respawn, or spectate. However, the match continued in the background. I could hear the announcer, the zone callouts, and my score increased while frozen. After a few minutes, I was awarded the win even though I was not actually alive in the final circle. This may be connected to matches where the final squad is “invisible” or not present in the circle but still wins. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Queue for Duos without receiving a teammate. 2. Play until first death. 3. Second Chance tries to activate. 4. Camera locks and character does not respawn. PS5 – Battlefield 6 consistently crashes with CE-108255-1 right after match load
Platform: PlayStation 5 Region: [Ireland / EU] Build: Fully updated (game + PS5 system software) Issue: Every attempt to start a match in Battlefield 6 results in a crash with error CE-108255-1. The game launches, loads the map, shows the deployment screen for a few seconds (sometimes a glimpse of my soldier), then crashes back to the PS5 dashboard. This happens every single time — I’ve never been able to play a full match since release. Troubleshooting done: Cleared cache, restarted console, verified updates. Rebuilt database and repaired storage multiple times. Deleted all save data, including old beta/labs data. Fully reinstalled the game several times (10 packages downloaded). Tried both Wi-Fi, wired LAN, and mobile hotspot – stable connections. Tested with a secondary PSN account – same crash. Confirmed Battlefield 2042, Kingdom Come Deliverance II, and other demanding games run perfectly. EA Support advised reinstall + license restore; issue persists. Notes: Because the crash occurs just as online gameplay initializes, it may relate to backend entitlement or shared Frostbite packages. Other players appear affected as well.
