I’m 100% with you on this one.
Been grinding rush on battlefield 6 whenever I can squeeze in a couple hours after work — kids are asleep, dishes done, back already yelling at me — and what do I get? Attacking side. Again. And again. And again.
It’s honestly getting ridiculous. My squad and I joke that we don’t even need to check anymore. Fresh lobby? Cool, guess we’re attacking. if I’m lucky, I’ll see the defending side once or twice in an entire evening and some nights, not at all. At this point, defence feels like a good night’s sleep — I know it exists, I just don’t experience it anymore.
I also agree that it really does feel like first-come, first-serve almost like the game just dumps early loaders onto attack. Look I'm too old to care about the unrealistic, ai-generated, cosmetic nonsense. I just want to have fun and variety in my matches. Sometimes I just want to bunker up and hold the line instead of always sprinting head first in to a meat blender especially after a long shift at the office.
The team assignment should be random. or at least balanced. Not tied to who has the faster hard drive. This isn't a fair or fun experience its simply lazy backend logic and lacks variety.
Love the game however. Been playing battlefield since the old days. But this one issue has existed since the launch and it feels less like a fluke and more like a design oversight.
hope this gets addressed soon.
