Controller/Keyboard Hybrids cause delayed activation of actions PC
I use a Hall Effect keyboard which allows for simulation of controller inputs to take advantage of the pseudo-analog nature of the magnetic switches. This allows for finer movement control which I heavily prefer when gaming. This notably does not allow for tricking the game into allowing aim assist like with cheating tools. The same concept can be seen in devices like the Razer Tartarus having a dedicated stick.
I have noticed that the game struggles to process controller based inputs alongside keyboard inputs at the same time while using this. This causes strange inconsistencies with whether my binds for things like sliding and switching lasers/lights on/off will activate or not. This does NOT happen when standing still. I use keyboard buttons programmed to my mouse for some of these, however I have discovered that whether they're activated via the programmed buttons or the keyboard causes the same inconsistent behavior.
POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLUTION:
I have discovered that removing duplicate controls from the controller settings fixes the inconsistencies as well as the problems involving "hardcoded" keybinds! There must be some conflict between keyboard and controller on PC
