Deployable Cover Mounting

When I use my LMG as support, I often use my deployable cover to mount my LMG to. However, if I unmount my gun to reload, I must fully stand up and squat back down for the system to realize I want to pop up upon pressing LT. It will not pop me up from behind cover on pressing LT until I first fully stand up, then squat back down. Additionally, it sometimes “bounces” off the cover or other mounting positions when I go to mount my LMG.
