We need to prevent players from playing on rooftops.
Many Korean, Asian, and overseas players — even streamers — are exploiting a drone glitch to occupy rooftops or buildings that normal players can’t access, leading to unfair and unreasonable gameplay. This issue should not be ignored, and I believe action must be taken before Season 1 begins.
For example, you could set a no-fly zone or altitude limit that prevents players from going above certain building heights, and fi
x bugs that allow players to ride drones or spawn at high places using beacons.

Allow all roofs to be collapsable or be exposed with bad footing so players can't hide or isn't worth the trouble. There should be rubble but move it back enough outside the map so players can't camp

How does it matter where they come from? How do you know where they come from?
What is overseas to you might not be overseas to the next btw.
I also dont see the problem with players sitting on roofs. Adapt!
I welcome my opponents sitting on roofs, so they don't get in my way while taking the flag points on the ground, perfect!- dr_fatcat_o3o17 days agoNew Novice
If your idea of adapting is to account for more sight-lines on objective points which are already Swiss cheese in nature with how many places you can get shot from then that's not a very good one. I already have to watch 4-5 angles, Battlefield (or any shooter for that matter) is too chaotic to watch additional potential enemy player positions.

I'll never stop saying that "Life uhhh... finds a way" in these situations. Instead of trying to play whack-a-mole with different ways to get to roofs, DICE should embrace the verticality and make buildings more destroyable, add more roof accessess so they aren't only for glitch users, and add more top cover on objectives such that roofs are a flank route or a sniper arena - not a power position throughout the entire game.

Agree.. many of these players take heli or jets just to get on top of these buildings so everyone else needs to wait again for another aircraft, which in my opinion it's also a griefing move besides the roof top thing just to get some kills because the majority of these people can't play fair . Skill bar is so low :(

This post is pointless because the solution exists, its called mortars.

我觉得加空气墙是个好办法,帝国州就有空气墙,让无人机上的玩家无法高于一定高度但是不会影响无人机的行动,为什么不运用到全部地图上呢

I think adding an air wall is a good idea. In Empire State, there is an air wall that prevents players on drones from going above a certain height but does not affect the drones' movement. Why not apply this to the entire map?

To the person saying use mortars, that's not going to work, as mortars do not do remotely enough damage, and are not accurate enough to reliably hit where you're aiming, as accuracy only increases when striking the same spot multiple times, so the roof campers just move to another edge of the roof and they're safe. Even if you spend 5 minutes and manage to mortar kill one of them, they just spawn on the beacon up there and go back to cheesing the map. Also, if you're spending the match mortaring, you're not capping or draining the enemy tickets, while the roof campers are draining tickets, even if they aren't capping anything up there.
The the person saying to adapt, the cap zones are designed with sightlines and cover in mind, the roof glitches are not accounted for. If they were getting under the map and shooting you from there, would you also say we should adapt? Nah, it's the same thing.
I think Apex has a good solution which is having the top surface of an asset starting an out of bounds countdown, that way you don't have an air wall that impedes you if you parachute from a chopper to back cap, etc..
