Unfair Mechanics, Game-Breaking Bugs, and Cheaters - I am Done with BF
I will never buy another product from the Battlefield franchise again. Infantry combat has practically disappeared, and there are in-game settings that might as well be considered cheats. For instance, because of the automatic range-finding feature, players with absolutely no sniper skill never miss from 400 meters away. This turns the match into a completely one-sided experience. It is beyond ridiculous and utterly unfair. While fighting against tanks can sometimes be fun, most of the time it is just frustrating. If you are playing as Assault, Support, or Sniper, you stand almost no chance, which forces you to spawn into the map as an Engineer whether you want to or not. We cannot play the game the way we want; instead, we are forced to play it the way you want. You have utterly failed to deliver a game on the level of BF4. Furthermore, the in-game bugs have become incredibly annoying. For example, in what I believe is the "Support Expert 3" assignment, I am required to resupply 30 players. However, no matter how many ammo crates/pouches I distribute, the progress counter remains stuck at zero and never moves forward. On top of that, the rockets I fire directly at enemies only reward me with a "suppression assist," whereas every single shot the enemy fires at me instantly kills me. When I use a shotgun at point-blank range, my hits barely do any damage—even after blasting them multiple times—yet I get one-shotted by an enemy using a shotgun from a distance. People are already quitting the game. Aside from all the issues I just mentioned, there are wallhackers who can see through solid surfaces and cheaters who abuse the movement mechanics by constantly slide-spamming. Players know exactly where we are; they play, escape, or attack accordingly. For years, you haven’t been able to find a solution to these cheats, and I kept buying this game every single time with a shred of hope. I give up now. You win. It seems you simply don't want us to buy your game anymore. From now on, I won't disappoint you.
Game Crash: EA Javelin Anticheat ExitType: 95
After playing the game for some time, the game crashes with no error message. Game is played on PC through Steam. The game first tabs out, and then after tabbing out, crashes in a few seconds. Upon looking at the event viewer, there is an EA Javelin Anticheat exittype: 95 error that indicates Javelin anticheat is causing the game to crash. AntiCheat Broken, Cannot Launch Via Steam
Hey there, I was able to play a bit of the new update but recently started getting an error that cannot be resolved despite attempting everything (uninstall/repair of anticheat, verified game files, uninstalled/reinstall game, adjusted windows security settings). TLDR: When I try to launch the game, it says "EAANtiCheat.cfg is missing or corrupted. Repair or reinstall the game" This is surely somehow linked to the new update as I've had 0 issues in the past. Please look into this EA! I can no longer play your game and would very much like to.
And another Bug and bug and bug.....and a few other things no one cares...
Every day a new bug since that bad update on Tuesday... I was flying a jet on Golmud. An enemy AA tank locked onto me and fired a missile. I deployed flares and flew below radar altitude; the missile warning disappeared. About three seconds later, I exploded—apparently hit by the AA tank. I just Alt+F4 out of the game. Was anything here actually tested? HQ camping is a huge problem on Bazaar. The HQs are far too exposed; sometimes you get shot down immediately after spawning. Surely no one tested that either, right? Also, the fact that you can reach out-of-bounds areas again—and that this wasn't caught during testing—is completely baffling to me. Then there's the Manhattan Bridge map: you still can't enter the first floor of certain buildings because the game counts it as being outside the playable area, even though those buildings have staircases. And that mouse bug/glitchy thing on the redeploy screen is the most annoying thing ever. This needs a hotfix—we shouldn't have to wait weeks for it. And for crying out loud, test your stuff beforehand. And yesterday a dude shoot me thorugh 2 walls from another building. Check your anticheat. And do something about that bad bad bad matchmaking. Those onesided games are not normal! And do something about high ping players! They are in an advantage or cheating! It’s great, though, that there are new, expensive skin packs—with little pictures and all that—instead of just individual skins. And I’m still angry that I never received the Twitch beta skins and the "Versatile" skin, even though I could prove I’d unlocked them via Twitch; the developer has been ignoring the issue for nine months now. You could give those skins to everyone by free. And you’re also ignoring the issue of why nothing is being done about certain soldier skins that can only be unlocked via BR (how should i get 5 wins in br with those bugs and cheater in it, and i don´t like BR! Don´t force us to play it!)—something I and others can’t manage on our own, and a mode not everyone wants to be forced to play. You could simply add an "or" option to the challenges and include them in standard BF6. Isn't it enough that BR fans get leaderboards and extra weapon skins, while BF6 players have to pay for everything? Sometimes I get the feeling that for you guys, BR is more important than BF6. It’s the same story with the soldier skins from the SQDM challenge; the one requiring 10 revives is barely achievable for average players (and those two after it). Yet, players are being ignored here, too. I paid for BF6 so i want those things via BF6 and not BR! But you sure love to advertise how much you listen to us but you are ignoring the simplest things! EAAntiCheatService hard crash
Ever since the last anti cheat update (not the game update) I'm experiencing random crashes to desktop. There's no game freezing. Just a very fast crash that exits to desktop without any message. Event viewer in all cases show this: The description for Event ID 1 from source Application cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event. The following information was included with the event: EAAntiCheatService ExitType: 95 (298) The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table
Game randomly quits to desktop
This started happening a couple of weeks ago. Didn't have this issue before. The game randomly quits to desktop without any crash or error reports. There is no freezing before it quits either. Plays fine until the point it quits. Windows Event Viewer has this error in the Windows Logs > Application category whenever this happens I already tried running the repair option for the anticheat service but that didn't help. BF RedSec Quads, couldnt win match.
Hi, We played Quad RedSec and we eliminated all other players. After that all 4 of us died to the fire closing up and we placed 2nd in that game. Is that just a bug? was some1 glitched under the map or something? Kinda just letting u know / we would like to know that is this something u guys have had reports and it could be fixed. REDSEC Players Under The Map
There is a current glitch that everyone is abusing where they glitch under the map and are fire immune. PLS patch ASAP. I also found this random guy explaining it [Removed - CM] PLS URGENTLY patch it. I've lost 10 games now to this. thank you (cm edit - updated title for vis)
"Clip Studio Paint" art program might be seen as suspicous by anticheat
I've noticed that while having battlefield running I can't boot an art program I use for work/hobbies If the program is running before Bf6 is running, no sweat. runs fine, no bugs/issues. But trying to boot it while running the game just won't open it. Just figured I'd point it out on the off chance it causes false positives for people using the program while running the game in the future, since i imagine the gap between bf6 anticheat going "i dont trust this dont let it boot" and "i dont trust this suspend the player" isn't a large one, and I know theres a variety of other people who might also use the program/play bf6. thanks, have a good one
