BF6 not launching – EA AntiCheat error 0xc0000604
Hi, I am experiencing an issue where Battlefield 6 does not launch at all. The game closes immediately during EA AntiCheat initialization. Error: bf6.exe – 0xc0000604 Details: - The error occurs before the game starts (no loading screen or graphics) - The issue happens during EA AntiCheat initialization Service diagnostics: After checking system services, EA AntiCheat appears to be installed but fails to initialize properly: - "eaanticheat" (FILE_SYSTEM_DRIVER) is STOPPED with WIN32_EXIT_CODE 31 - "EAAntiCheatService" is stuck in START_PENDING state This indicates a low-level driver initialization failure rather than a missing installation. What I already tried: - Reinstalled EA AntiCheat - Reinstalled the game - Clean GPU driver installation - Ran the game as administrator - Enabled Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 - Removed third-party antivirus (only Windows Defender active) This issue started after a recent Windows update (build 26xxx). From my investigation, this seems related specifically to EA AntiCheat failing to initialize at driver level. Additional evidence: (see attached screenshots with service status) Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any help or confirmation would be appreciated.
Die from 2 shots non headshots
I've been dieing rather weirdly the last few weeks but its been bad this morning I have a good ping but the clock and ping error keeps popping up in the top left but the problem i have is ive been getting alot of headshots on people and they just hit me in the leg or chest a couple times and im dead in less than a second I know im not great but im a decent shot im a lvl 400 plus so ive played many hours and that's without the double up boosters ive saved all them so I know what im talking about somethings wrong the orange dots all gone except for the vz pistol and the cz sub machine gun and uve also had a problem with the grenade intercept not intercepting grenades for some reason its gets me killed a bit when I have 2 set up and a someone kills me with a grenade launcher at hagental baseScoreboard/chat window stuck on screen and cant do anyting aaaaaaaand more
It happened more time than it should when I check the scorboard and try to interact with it its gets stuck on the screen and the only way to "fix" it is to Alt+F4. Now if you have this mid game kiss goodbye to the XP and everything... Full price game btw. Same happenes with chatwindow. Try to type a message to the team or tell them to step on a LEGO. Good luck cuz it will freeze on screen and cant type, cant use menu and you guesed it Alt+F4 again cuz its a full price game. Not even mentioning the dogwater performance with packet loss since the latest main update becuse of course its a full price game btw. Anti cheat might as well be deleted becuse i can count on 1 hand how many games I had in a week since I didn't get matched with some math equation named 150ms pinged 50/1 players (infantry and not in a tank/heli/jet). But hey at the end of the day its a full price game. Wanna do weekly tasks? Good go for it but be aware it will only count half of your progresion (mainly if its "Play as X class 5 games"). Still a full price game btw. Desync/netcode needs a bit of a fix too.. I get behind cover and 2s later I still die? Not even mentioning fighting console people. By the time their machine registers the half a mag I pumped in the back of their heads my hair grows back and falls out again. Im sure that EA Dice is a small indie developer and dont have the manpower to fix or even impliment basic functionalities into their small full price game btw but I am willing to bet the soul of my first born child that the next 50 skin boundle is already done alongside the next 4 seasons of BP. The least a company should do if they have the audicity to ask FULL PRICE + change for a **bleep** game is to make sure it is actualy tested properly befor you put it out for the consumers. For the love of god redirect the manpower from the BR that nobody asked for and fix the basics of the game pls. Also its a full price dumpsterfire btw.
Error Code 0:85009S
Receiving the above error code after 5 minutes of every game. I have been playing after the latest update with no problems however today this has been occurring everytime. Any fixes or workarounds that don't involve reinstalling windows, I aint doing that for an EA error. Had a few chats in game chat with people having the same issue.
High Ping, VPN Abuse, and Broken Netcode After the Latest Patch
Since the last patch, it has been happening more and more often that players have a ping of over 100 ms. It is technically impossible to play against these players because you get killed 10 meters around corners, or you get killed even though you haven’t even seen the enemy yet. In the last few days, I have increasingly seen players who take up to one third of the player slots in a match and all of them have a high ping. It is also well known that many NA players use VPNs to play on EU servers in order to gain exactly this advantage. DICE/EA, this needs to be fixed. When are you guys gone do a sweep and get rid of these cheaters like they really turning the game into crap with all this cheating. I can’t even enjoy the game against human player cause most of them sore losers cheating to win. Aim bots wall hackers I even just played a game where I couldn’t destroy a tank because it kept popping some smoke and I hit it with rockets it don’t slow down it kept the same speed and I’m on a anti armor class yet I couldn’t immobilize the take not only that dude had some type of extra comestic armor I never seen don’t know if it was helping with armor but I punch two rockets and get nothing no hit damage. I’m playing with a suppressor yet everytime I shot some one ran rite to me and kill me. I’m shooting players they not dying like they got extra health yet the AI and some other players I hit they go down. They just run off. Yet if they do it to me I’m going down no chance of getting away. I then caught some time where my gun be waving around the enemy like it won’t lock on like I’m disoriented. Then how they get the AI to spawn with them dude had ai spawning on the tank cause I killed four of them and none of them were human. I even seen the AI protecting a objective like they ain’t move they stayed rite at the objective. Yet ai never follows me or play with intelligence. Like the game really turning into call of duty with all these cheaters
Spawn protection at HQ
There needs to be implemented a spawn protection for ur own vehicles at HQ. The heli spawn killing etc needs to be put to and end. On small maps where peak, bridge etc, there is just no playing heli at all because of the lack of spawn protection right now. This needs an urgent fix.

Cannot Launch game due to this pop up: Your Windows version is not supported. Please upgrade to the minimum supported version. For information please see: https://help.ea.com/help/pc/anticheat". I have the latest Windows update- Windows 11, version 25H2- Security updated on 3/14/26 (KB5079473)(26200.8037). NVIDIA drivers up to date. Secure boot is on, I turned off, power cycled, turned back on. No issue with secure boot. No other errors. Verified files with Steam launcher. Unistalled-reinstalled. No sure what else I can do at this point. I have been playing for weeks with no issues then this pops up out of no where. No hardware changes.
